About the blog

Hello there!

Welcome to my blog. I don’t know if you know anything about me, but I’ll sure be glad to let you know a little bit. First of all, I am a young traveler and entrepreneur, so you’re probably going to read a lot about my ups and downs in life, work, with travel and with men.

If you’re in your 20s you’re probably going to enjoy reading about somebody else’s misery as your own, get a little laugh or maybe even get to empathize with the things I go through on a daily basis. If you are older or younger… Just sit tight and visualize the life of a clumsy millennial! But… I’m not all that shallow.

My name is Mirza; I am 26 years old and about two years ago I started being a full-time freelance writer and translator,  which has provided me with a lot of tools, but also had me face tons of challenges in the way.  I have lived things that I never thought I would go through. Since I lost my apartment, my boyfriend and my job within a month, I came to live back with my mom which has been a blessing (and sometimes a nightmare too).

On that time, I focused on what was really important: everything that is wrong with society. And don’t get me wrong: I’m not a pessimist, but:

  • Political chaos
  • War
  • Racism
  • Classism
  • Gender discrimination
  • Slavery
  • Violence

It’s like we haven’t moved ahead for the past 300 years.

So it makes no sense for me writing about the “best things about traveling", when there is no purpose to them but taking “pretty pictures". I just can’t do it.

So I decided this blog would be EVERYTHING.

A platform

A Changemaker

A cry of help

A beacon of hope

A home to equality.

The way I see things is that everything happens for a reason -you probably heard this a lot but it is definitely true- and as hard as we try to deny it, it forces us to shake our *mapped* life path again and again. So it’s your chance to join the game millenials can play better than anyone else: inspire change through social media.

Now, I write about sex, about travel and about social work… Everything I am passionate about. And why not? It’s one of the biggest fears of the human being: to immerse into the unknown.

Wanna join me?

Love,

Mirza
